as said, if you have the gains up too much, or not enough power going to the amp, it will make the amp clip, therefore breaking things.
its not really the amp or the subs fault, its due to lack of voltage or too much gain on the amp, its tryin to work to hard and then they clip the sig...
might of had the gains too high on the amp, or had a poor voltage supply, and clipped the signal, killing your sub, doesn't sound good anyway.
