I got soem info through the post. Peugeot are sponsoring this show and are pushing for a history of Peugeot in Motorsport and a decent presence. Historically we have not been deemed Retro enough for this event but apparently they are changing the focus slightly. I have been speaking to Kev Furber tonight and he is arranging a lot of the outside stuff at this event and has been apparently asked to help arrange a decent display of Peugeots. This is where the club comes in. I have put us as a single point of contact for getting public cars for the show, i.e. liaise with other clubs to invite their members etc but they will basically be joining our stand. Kev is speaking to the organisers to establish exactly what can be arranged and will let us know. This will probably tie in with anything else that Peugeot Marketing are doing with regards to the show, but it sounds like we can get a display with the 205 T16, 206 WRC and the 207 IRC included. I said we can bring 306 BTCCs, 405 Touring car replicas, diverse engine modifications, rally 106s, 205s etc. There is a lot of space there. We could possible make this a spring meet if funds are tight and Llandow is not an option early in the year (not sure if anything has or has not been booked) I am happy to help around this event if required, but equally happy for someone else to run with it :) :logo:
