So..
There I was in my RED 406 Coupe 2.2HDI and my wallet was starting to get hit on a regular basis.. FAP Remap, deer strike damage repair, broken drivers seat, electrics all over the shop and to crown it all the Clutch and DM flywheel needed replacing.. So I did a brave thing and part ex'd it for.....An RCZ.

Its a 156 petrol GT in Black with the 19 inch wheel option. Nice, real nice. One owner, but with a "few" more miles than I really wanted, but the timing was right and its only going to be used for best... Honest. ( having just had a FAP diesel for 5 years I could not commit to the stresses of blocked filters and fuel additives and I will not be doing the milage to warrant diesel so I went back to petrol)

Had it a month, been to Padstow and back, great fun and it sure does look good.... But........., there is always a but,........... it has a problem.

Its got a years peugeot waranty on it and it looks as though I will be using it already.

These engines it appears are plagued by timing chain tensioner issues and bingo, I have a rattling diesel sound on start. It goes in tomorrow but they are so busy that it will not be looked at for at least a week...Oh good.

Hopefully this will be my last tale of all things bad, and i can revel in the joys of 2+2 motoring.

JR..
