2015 – £9470 - pre event ticket sales, up £686 on 2014. £ 4532 - total on the day sales £260 – on the gate camping £460 - On the day membership Total takings - £14722 Deductions £500 - Float £76 - evening prizes £25 – sacks for games £500 - Alec and gate staff £187 - Trophies £600 - BOC deposit £5400 - BOC fee £310 – Air fresheners £120 - 30th balloons and helium Total deductions - £7718 Total 2015 takings, net of deductions: £7004 £14722 - Total funds from the event down by £2621 from, last year (2014 was £17343) but up (£324) compared to 2013 (2013 was £14398) Camping was the main reason for the reduction here with just 96 tickets sold pre-event but 350 sold in 2014. The hill tickets I would guess were bought mainly in advance this year hence our big pre-event ticket sales and reduction in on the day sales. The weather did not help either and I am just glad we pre-sold so many tickets otherwise the profits would have been far lower. The weather forecast the week before gave a very poor vision of the weekend and I think that put people off. We would have made £310 more but I think the free air fresheners may be a good marketing tool in the longer term and wonder if we should restock these for the Manchester Classic and NEC shows. Clearly the 205 GTI (as evidenced in 2014) is the big draw at Pugfest it seems. Our financials are still looklimg very healthy though: Current bank balance = £25,252 + £300 Paypal + £5252 cash to be paid in = £30,804.
