Afternoon all, Just thought I would say that after owning pugs from the 90's I've finally joined the club. First pug was almost a 205 1.9 GTI but ended up with a ford for a few years before getting 306 XSI on a snowy January Friday when the collecting garage ran a book on how long it would be before I ditched it --- it never happened! Have owned anything from 306 XSI, 206 GTI's, 307's, 207 GT THP (nice car but never again, long story!) to this years 208 3Dr Rioja Red Feline Live not far from J15 M1 and some would say having a mid life crisis has 8 weeks ago I purchased (blind without hearing or seeing) a 2006 206 GTI which had done 74,000. Been used daily since getting it and what fun, again. Had an 01 plate before, so yes reliving my 30's!. So keep me posted on any activities going on in the area and if I can make them then count me in unless you have an upper age limit:D. I will also offer some alternative venues to "cruise too" for the organisers since my other interests are at a smaller level and I am the Chairman of the Nene Valley Raceway Off Road Model Car Club (Nr Santa Pod) where we race 1/8 and 1/5 (petrol powered) buggies - so when the good weather comes then you are more than welcome to arrange a get together to come and watch our racing. I'm also the national section chairman for the 1/5 petrol racing so if anyone wants to meet at any of our races across the UK then feel free to get in touch - goggle LSOR BRCA or Nene Valley Raceway. Like I say another form of motor engineering and free to spectate and if you can not wait until the spring for a cruise then come on down to Essex on the 8/9th Feb to watch us race in door.
