Well I've just finished unpacking stuff, and I'd like to start by saying thank you to those who organised the Curborough event today. I had to work this morning so managed to get there for just after 2.30pm with the Mini. With some sticky Hoosier slicks on the front much fun was had, I'd like to think I was getting quicker as I built some confidence in the car. I've also got plenty of video footage which I'll upload in due course, although as usual if anyone has any decent pics I'd love to see them! The mini is now safely tucked up in the garage, awaiting some attention to the front brakes, as after a couple of more spirited runs the pedal turned to mush and when I went to drive down to the trailer I nearly had to swerve to avoid it as I couldn't stop!! From the revs and gear used I reckon we were nearly cracking 100mph at times, so stopping hard from this kind of speed has obviously taken its toll on the brake fluid!
