Twice I have refitted a scuttle panel on my 307 only for a few days later a small crack to appear at the bottom of the screen. I can only relate this to being something to do with the way that the panel clips in at the bottom of the screen near where the removable vent is. Maybe it was due to me washing the car and water running into the clip and freezing over night? Maybe there was a bit of dirt trapped that vibrated and caused a crack to appear. Any thoughts on how to avoid this in the future? My current plans are to blast the area with brake cleaner to get super clean before reclipping the panel back in. I thought I would share this to make sure people don't have similar hassle.
